When I go to save a scanned image into a PICT file, sometimes I get a bomb. I havn't been able to reproduce exactly what it takes, however. It seems to happen on both greyscale and halftones. I've tried it on two different II-cx's, both with 5 Mbytes of RAM. One has a Moniterm Viking 19" mono display and an Apple/Quantum 40 Mbyte disk, the other has a RaterOps 19" mono and a Quantum-105 disk, both running 6.0.3 with multifinder. We've tried giving AppleScan as much as a 4000k memory partition. Any ideas? I've left a few messages on our dealer's voice mail but so far havn't heard from them (wonderful tech support system, no?) -- Roy Smith, Public Health Research Institute 455 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016 roy@alanine.phri.nyu.edu -OR- {att,philabs,cmcl2,rutgers,hombre}!phri!roy "My karma ran over my dogma"
