Summary: PostScript file don't print. Message-ID: <2439@loral.UUCP> Date: 7 Feb 90 20:13:14 GMT Reply-To: art@loral.UUCP (Earthman Arthur Donavan) Distribution: usa Organization: Loral Instrumentation, San Diego Lines: 24 Situation; PostScript file created with command F, later with command K. The files are then sent to a VAX (No probelms here). The files are then sent to an Imagen laserprinter, with Ultrascript as the PostScript interpreter. (The command ipr -Pcx1 -LUltrascript filename.) Both versions of the PostScript file fail to print. The file without Laser Prep fails because unidentified commands cannot be executed, and the file with Laser Prep fails because it uses Apple specific items in Laser Prep. I figure a PostScript file should print on a PostScript printer, yes? I ag- ree I might have a problem with the Ultrascript interpreter, but all the %% lines are accepted. Is there something wrong with my reasoning, or do I just have to have a laserwriter? I can give specific errors if that is needed. Any help is appreciated.
