I've been working on a background button script for an inventory stack I'm
doing.

When I select some text and go up to the edit menu the machine seems to lock up.
I can move the arrow pointer all over the screen, but pushing the mouse button
has no effect on anything.

I'm using Hypercard 1.2.5 and System 6.0.4 (obviously).  I just ran
Disinfectant 1.6 on the system and I had Gatekeeper 1.1.1, Gatekeeper Aid
(version ???), and Eradicatem installed.  So not much chance of a virus.
I removed the INITs and same problem.

Is this a known bug, something new, or did I screw up.

System is SE with external 40 Meg drive, 1 Meg RAM
