I find that Ready, Set, Go! is very much like FrameMaker in this and many 
other respects.  You might also look into Quark XPress.  (Ive been using RSG 
for years, but I'm disappointed that lately they've been trading off quality of
implementation and ease of use for features at an ever-increasing rate.)
