I've seen the ads in the hind-sections of MacWorld and MacUser for MacParq or some such data acquisition hardware, but at $1000+, I decided my need had a limit. None the less, a D/A converter is needed. Unless anyone out there in NetLand knows of a source for cheap (in any sense of the word, really) converters, please EMail me. Otherwise, I guess I'll do the proper thing and attempt to build one myself. The plans so far are to build a serial-parallel converter (since Mac+ outs are serial, right?) and run that into a D/A IC. This output gets amplified, and that's the converter. Comments/suggestions are always appreciated, as are schematics.
