As far as I know, the pro's for the SE/30 upgrade is that I get the Color QuickDraw ROM routines and the Direct Slot expansion port. The con's are that I have to spend at least $500 more for the Apple upgrade, and that the local Apple repairman said he's seen many third-party boards die in 1 year.
