It is quite easy to copy the contents of a field to the clipboard: simply doMenu "Copy Text". After that, of course, the contents of the clipboard can be easily pasted into any other document. However, the textstyle and font are lost in the process. so my original problem still remains: i want to put the contents of a field to a disk file in the form of some common word processing software such as fullwrite or MacWrite. I have heard that Ashton-Tate is not disposed towards releasing this sort of information, but does anyone know how to approach Claris for information about the structure of macwrite documents? or is this information available elsewhere? thanks for the advice!
