Valcartier Lines: 19 I would like to know how to adjust the delay that the mac waits before trying to boot off a SCSI disk. I heard there is a value in PRAM to that end. I would like to lenghten such a value because one of my drives takes a long time to spin up and I always end up booting on the others. Anybody has any info on the subject or better yet, a cdev that would allow me to adjust it. While trying to figure out where were stored the menu delays, (see thread on Hierarchical Menus) I fould values in PRAM that were used by the SCSI manager, but before risking to play with those, I would like to know id anybody has info on the topic. -- | Louis Demers | DREV, Defence Research Establishment,Valcartier | | louis@asterix.drev.dnd.ca | POBox 8800, Courcelette,Quebec, CANADA, G0A 1R0 | | (131.132.48.2) | Office: (418) 844-4424 fax (418) 844-4511 | +---------------------------+-------------------------------------------------+
