I do not have FTP access and instead had a friend attempt to get the
TeX distribution from vgr.brl.mil.  She tried for a week without
success (even during the night) due to continuous time-out problems.
Would someone be willing to write it to tape for me and mail it to
me?  I will mail the tape to you, and include postage for the return
trip.
