CONFIGURATION: The network has a few dozen Suns, most with large local disks. Most Suns have some local home directories and must mount others via NFS. User home directories are of the form /home/host/user. The auto.master and auto.home maps are set up as described in the System Administrator's manual. We are running yellow pages. PROBLEM: The automounter successfully mounts home directory on remote machines, but hides local home directories. HELP: What vital--but obscure--detail am I overlooking? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Joel Shprentz Phone: (703) 848-7305 BDM International, Inc.
