We have succeed in doing remote displays and keyboards from our SUN
workstations. Note that's an empiric (but correct) try.

Workstations type : SUN 3 and SUN 4

Display type : 
	. monochrome normal resolution (1152 x 900) : M model
	. monochrome high resolution (1600 x 1280) : HM model

Distance : for both 30 meters between screen and station (remark : correct
test at 60 m) without definition or stability problems under sunview or
XWindow

Screen cable (ECL technology) :

. multi coaxial cables (4), RG 59 (75 ohms impedance)
. DB9 Video Connector Type, for the two cable ends :
