     I passed the question of making CLIO available early to the leader of
the CLIO group (who doesn't yet read this mailing list), and his reply is:

   We can now make an preliminary version of CLIO available to a limited number of
   customers for evaluation and alpha testing. If interested, call or send me a
   message explaining why you need early access.
