Message-ID: <9688@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu> Date: 10 Feb 90 01:01:27 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Theory Center, Cornell U., Ithaca NY Lines: 13 Postscript has the ability to deal with outline fonts, and tex is perfectly happy to use the laserwriter's internal fonts if a .tfm file is present. Why aren't there outline fonts available to download or a version of dvi2ps that uses .mf instead of .pk files? I can't stand not having the sizes and magnifications I need, nor should I have to create a new pk using mf (which I haven't figured out how to do) every time I need a new font.
