I don't suppose anyone has gone through the (massive?) pain
of making the University Ingres distribution compile and work
on a DECstation 3100?  The problems we've seen so far include:

	multiple declarations of main (fixed)
	general, complete failure of locking
	random core dumps
	etc.

We haven't looked too closely yet at what's going on, but I
did figure we should ask before reinventing the wheel...
