Lines: 17 Hi, I am thinking about buying a super VGA card and NEC MultiSynch 2A for use with one of our machines running Xenix. Having shopped around a little I now know that VGA cards come in two varieties: 8 bit and 16 bit. What I'd like to know is if there is much advantage in buying a 16 bit card ? I know that the 16 bit card will be faster, but is it significant ? The dealers here are a real problem - most spell Xenix with a Z ! Cheers and thanks in advance Glenn Reply by email to glenn@extro.ucc.su.oz Glenn Geers Department of Theoretical Physics The University of Sydney Sydney 2006 Australia
