  Could someone reveal the secrets to getting X11R4 working on a
  DecStation 3100?  I did this:
  
  1. Verified that Ultrix 3.1 was installed.

  2. Did not modify any configuration files and did a successful 'make World' 
	 & 'make install'

  3. Made a symbolic link from X to Xcfbpmax.

  4. Killed the session manager by deleting it from the /etc/ttys file
	 and enabled the console ttys configuration.
   
  5. Created an .xinitrc file and placed 'twm' in it.

  6. Added /usr/bin/X11 before /usr/bin in my path.

  7. Did a 'setenv DISPLAY unix:0'

  8. Type 'xinit'.

  It failed with connection refused.

  Any ideas?
