At present we are not able to direct input from keypad (e.g., PF1 etc) and bind these keys to certain functions. At present, it ignores PF1 etc keys while numeric keys come out as a the numeric digit and not an escape sequence. My questions is: Is it possible at all to make gnuemacs see the keypad as application keypad and not numeric keypad. Do we have to recompile it? Can I set something up in .Xdefault to do this? Or can I make a .Xkeyboard file (as we could in X10) so that those keys are mapped to a specific escape sequence. Please reply directly to patel@ecs.umass.edu Thanks in advance. baiju -------------------- Baiju Patel ECE Dept. UMASS, Amherst, MA 01003
