I have noticed there are a lot of things on the net I would like to obtain,
but they are mostly available through FTP.  Unfortunately, I have only been
a netter for about 5 months and don't even know if we at ATT (cbnewsi) even
have FTP access to half of the places I would like to go, such as
expo and edu@rice, etc.

If anyone out there can either send me an example of how to fetch something
using FTP or even the man pages I would appreciate it.  If your mail 
boomerangs, I am having a temporary e-mail problem, please post the message
on this forum.  Does anyone else at AT&T know if we can access any of these
archive sites via FTP?  If so, how do we do it?  I can't find any docs on 
this anywhere!
