I've managed to get g++ and gcc 'limping' on a 386 (System V). I'm using version 1.36 of GCC and 1.36.4 of G++. The version(s) of ld I have are from g++ 1.36.4 and binutils (from prep.ai.mit.edu) and there are some differences. These are aside from the demangler. Is there a current merged version ??? Thanks, any help would be appreciated. The reason I'm asking is I've found a problem when using g++ andlibg++ and I "believe" the bug is in linking. I've posted a description to gnu.g++.bug and gnu.g++.lib.bug Rich P. rp@osc.com {pacbell, amdcad}!osc!rp osc!rp@pacbell.com
