I haven't done this myself, but if I were going to do it, here is what I would do: Move each VLIB and GROUP file, change the addresses in NETNEWS GROUPS, and cross your fingers. There will be problems when an article was cross posted, say to comp.something and alt.something. There would be just 1 copy of the article actually saved. The worst that will happen in these cases is user will get the msg "Sorry, this article cannot be displayed". Let me know how it works out.
