You know, there are times when I'd be watching a good movie, then at the last half hour of the movie, the closed captioning would stop. Just that! For a few minutes, I would be sitting on the edge of a chair and straining to read the lips on TV. Unfortunately, the lips were not always readable. I would go nuts! It happened too often lately. CBS, NBC, and ABC probably know my name by now because I have called and chewed them out pretty often. (grin) Like you say, the quality of CC is dubious at best. And it sure needs more improvement!
