When posting in an area that gets echoed to both systems, you should consider both set of rules, and obey the lowest common denominator. Anyway, Stu Turk has not said that there is a ban on advertising, as long as it is of benefit to all participants, and not to the person posting the message. This will avoid crass commercialism.
