Message-ID: <1990Feb9.052428.5248@robohack.UUCP> Date: 9 Feb 90 05:24:28 GMT Sender: woods@robohack.UUCP (Greg A. Woods) Organization: R. H. Lathwell Associates: Elegant Communications, Inc. Lines: 23 I don't know how appropriate this is in rec.models.rc, but it seems to be as close as it gets (perhaps we could have a rec.models, or a rec.steam, or rec.metalworking ... you get the idea). I am a hobby machinist (or model engineer). I have not been terribly active in my hobby, as I have limited time and funds just now, but I do try to keep up with the field, and I would like to talk with others who have similar interests. I do read several magazines, including "Live Steam", "Home Shop Machinist", and "Model Engineering". I have a 3" Sherline Model 4000 lathe with milling attachment, and various tools and such. I am looking for a screw cutting attachment for the lathe, as well as a morse #0 taper threaded to take a 3/16" (24tpi) chuck. Anyway, how many of you are also interested in metalworking? -- Greg A.
