I have an inkling that it is a store & foreward network of PC BBS's, sort of like an PC version of usenet. Is this true? -john- You got it! Its really very much like some of the features you can get through Internet/Usenet. There are [I would estimate] about as many Fidonet groups as there are Usenet newsgroups. Pascal, Astronomy, Star Trek, Many special ones supporting certain programs like Telix or Wildcat BBS system. Also, you can mail specific users ( "netmail" ) although I have personally never used this feature.
