It's quiet, warped, and the other side is worn, but the WV side isn't. (Dorati/LSO) I was expecting real sonic blockbusting, what with the guns and all. In fact the orchestra sounds decent, there's lots of depth and orchestral dynimics, but the guns are a wash out. Total tape saturation. Add to that a really big peak in the tape hiss (and presumably everything else as well) at around perhaps 12kHz, and a little flutter to go, and you have, well...something that isn't bad for a buck. Fortunately not really my cup of tea anyway.
