VLSI Technology sells fast SRAMs, but I don't know if we have 55 ns ones or not. I think we just announced the 256K ones. Send E-mail if you can't find an address and phone number. The memory group is downstairs (I write design software); I can go down and ask. Cypress Semiconductor, also here in Silicon Valley, has made a name for itself selling fast SRAMs; I don't know if they have what you want and I don't have their address (after all, I don't work there :-).
