Lines: 21 Approved: shari@wpi.edu For those of you using Macs, I have a program you might find useful. It is called FREE TEXT and it is used to index and browse through large amounts of text very rapidly and very precisely. It runs under HyperCard and is written by Mark Zimmermann whose net address is science@NEMS.DT.NAVY.MIL. If you can't find it posted on CompuServe on Usenet, send me a formatted floppy disk (Mac only) a self addressed mailing label a note mentioning Free Text and I'll send you the files. I've been using it with a 4.5 mb. file of all my notes, email, usenet downloads, BITNET mailing list dumps, and other text files. It's great!
