Until now the only methods discused are, originally, MSDOS compression methods. Why don't we use A Unix compression method, like "compress" (.Z). This runs on a lot of platforms (I've got a running version for MSDOS), Is public domain. If you don't have it running on your PC uncompress before downloading and recompress with your own favorite compression method. -- Maarten Huisjes.
