We checked on the prices, and the Oracle 8+ users package (kernel + tools) will cost us about $15K, which is a little steep. How do Informix and/or Ingres compare to this ? We were unable to find any information about them (price, tools availiable, performance, etc.) Could you mail any info u might have or your opinions on these possibilities ?
