I don't know if this group is the right one to post for
this question - but here goes anyway...

Can anyone give me any information on a land resource satellite
system called SPOT?  From what I understand it is used to
generate a digitized terrain map of various geographic regions.

I am would like to know:
	how to get these maps
	what format they are in
	do they indeed contain terrain type and elevation
	etc.
