We wrote our own raytracing and modeling software and are interested in a standardized 24 bit file format. I have heard about a TARGA format which has a small header (12 bytes?) followed by rgb values. How standard is this format? Is there another format that is as simple and more standard? Could someone tell me the header format of TARGA? I can be Emailed at haker@cs.wisc.edu.uhura to avoid overloading news with information that most of you must already know. Mike Haker
