I haven't posted this in a while so I'll repeat.
I am working (finishing) a dissertation dealing with graphics languages,
basically (although not trivially) I have produced an object-oriented, 
distributed composite graphics language as a side product of the phd.

I want to make sure I haven't left any references un-noticed.  Does anyone
know of any references to "graphics languages"?
I am not too concerned with the library approach. (X, Phigs,...) 
I am concerned with vector graphics, rendering, UI and hypermedia nodes.
