 The November 1990 Washington DC meeting is the Target date for 
 completion of committee work. After that the basis Doc will recieve
 another edit to turn it in to a new doc called DPANS (draft proposed
 ansi standard. A mail ballot of the standards committee must approve
 the dpans unanimously. OK its probabality Jananuary 1991 now. The DPANS
 is now published and a manditory 4 month public review period starts.
 The committee MUST answer all remarks/complaints about the DPANS to
 the SATISFACTION OF ANSI. OK that may cause revision of the DPANS; start
 the cycle again! If and when it does then it is summited to ANSI for
 consideration. ANSI meets only a couple of time a year. OOPs they meet
 and kicked it back; begin again. IF thing worked fairly smoothly there
 MAY be an ANS forth by late 1991.
