What is "Negative Imaging Technology"??  If this is just Australian for
write-white engines, there are write-white modifications for Computer
Modern in a past issue of the TUGBoat, in the public domain.

If it is something else, what about it requires special fonts?  Computer
Modern is specified in METAFont; it should be able to produce fonts for
any technology given the right mode_defs and, in a few more complex cases,
some changes to base macros (as in write-white).
