Message-ID: <1499@eutrc3.urc.tue.nl> Date: 18 Feb 90 20:13:53 GMT Organization: Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands Lines: 27 Hello *, At the moment I have Minix 1.5.0 PC up-and-running on the Toshiba T3100/20 of my boss. All things work with no errors, but there are some peculiarities: In the process of getting it going the first thing I noticed was that Minix was so smart as to recognize the 80286 and come up in protected mode. It won't any more :-( As far as I know this Toshiba has a proper EGA screen, but the default scrolling is hardware type. Push Ctrl-F3 every reboot :-( The readclock.c out of the box only gives -q as result. Clocks are notorious for incompatibility, so that is not really odd. The question is thus: Can anyone please provide me with a readclock for the straightforward T3100? If any of the other remarks give anyone a clue as to what point I am missing I would be most obliged for some hints. Many thanks in advance to all the networld people for responding to this plea.
