Now, I know next to nothing about the Amiga, but I can't afford a Mac so I figure I'll try finding out about it. So here's my questions: 1) Is this a good price? 2) How much can I get a 20-40 Meg hard drive for? $300 $700? 3) Does the Amiga use SCSI? Are there any Syquest drivers availible, so I could use my work Syquest Mac drive with it? 4) Are there any cheap <$150 full featrued C systems? (shell, source debug, inline ASM) 5) Are there any writing & drawing programs avilible which offer MacWrite/MacWrite II & MacDraw/MacDraw II output formats? 6) Does the A1000 have a "bus expansion" port? is it direct to CPU pins? 7) Are there 680x style i/o ports on it? 8) How much does memory cost for it? (say to 1 or 2 meg) Thanks for your trouble and time, and please, please respond via email, not via posting.. Mike isr@rodan.acs.syr.edu
