Wherefor art thou...well, y'know] Just got SimCity and have been absorbed with it for the last several days.(can you say "only two hours sleep"? I knew ya could). It is great! I can't say enough good things about it. I hope they add more to the simulation like different types of roads and trains. A Rail yard and smaller airports. Stuff like that. Anyway, my disk was infected with the Byte Bandit boot block virus! Lucky for me I run Virusx so I was informed. And I don't boot anything unless I have to. So I never ran the boot blocks. But aside from a letter or phone call, (which I will do Tuesday), does anyone know how I can get in touch with Maxi? Compuserve address? And if you have a copy of SimCity, check it for the virus. Mine says copy 612!! I don't think the boot block is non-standard on this game because I replaced the boot block on my working copy and there have been no problems but I haven't replaced the original and I won't until I hear from Maxi that the software will work properly with the standard boot block. God, I hate these virii hackers! Can't we boil 'em in oil as a warning? Dana Bourgeois @ cup.portal.com
