I remember reading CBM's fancy new adds in Time Magazine.  The must have cost
a fortune, and probubly got some attention.  One section of the huge add talked
about a brilliant young programer and his new revolutionary game, Vette.
The add talked about how the programer needed a very sophisticated computer to
produce this advanced driving simulation.  Well, a few months later...
 
Vette hits the shelves, ON THE IBM!!!!
 
Now if I am a future computer owner, and I sorta remember these high priced
adds talking about a powerful computer which a knowlegable programmer chose
to feature his simulation, 'Vette' on....well......
 
Nice going CBM & Spectrum Holobyte, way to spend a few mills advertising
for big blue.
 
conclusion : "Where in the hell is Vette, and if it was developed on an amiga
              why is it not on the Shelves!!!!!"
             "Next we will learn that BB King writes music on his guitar and
              not Deluxe Music construction, of course I never bought that one
              anyways!"
