Message-ID: Date: 20 Feb 90 09:08:48 GMT Sender: news@decwrl.dec.com Organization: Missionaria Phonibalonica Lines: 22 Distribution: As many people have pointed out in a variety of ways, the 1000->2000 upgrade offer is pretty much a bad joke. It costs more than a rejuvenator, and saves almost zip. Worse yet, you're getting a machine that's already 2 years down CBM's 5-year life cycle (with one sample, anyway). Anyone else interested in a 1000->3000 upgrade offer? How many out there would consider that, but aren't considering the 1000->2000 upgrade? After all, that means you're buying a machine that's got roughly twice the life cycle left in it as the 2000. Plus 32-bit busses, and other goodies. How about a comment from someone at CBM?
