  Does anyone one there know where I can get an extra serial port for my
Amiga 1000?  I've got an Apple //e LANed to my Amiga (I wrote a shell
on the Apple for that purpose) but it uses the only serial port I have
and precludes my use of the port for modeming.
 
  I have the schematics for a 1000->2000 expansion bus converter but I
don't feel like undoing all the little screws in the 1000 in case I make
a mistake and burn my processor.  I someone can tell me where I can get
a serial port that I can simply plug into a 1000, I'd surely appreciate
it.
