SCSI controller -- write this down! There is an omission in the "SCSI Host/Controller Instruction Manual" that comes with SCSIDOS 3.0. It can cause the above error. On page 45, "Step by Step Low-Level Formatting of a Hard Drive", there should be an ADDITIONAL STEP between steps (2) and (3). (Step (2) says "Copy your current Mountlist...", and step (3) says "Now start the FEdX program...."). Step (2.5): Run the DevInstall program by typing: DevInstall @devs:devsetup Now proceed with the rest of the instructions. This should eliminate the errors you are seeing.
