Incidently, you can run the ROM at 14MHz also, so >Intuition calls (and _ALL_ ROM routines) are accessed faster. This may seem like a mean question, but I really don't mean it that way. I toyed with buying a PA1000 for quite some time, but it seemed to me from the discussion here on the net that *maybe they didn't work very well** This is not a question of how much acceleration one got---as you say, my milage may very. But it seemed to me that there were an awful lot of messages that said essentially, "I couldn't ever get the PA1000 to work, so I finally gave up and returned it and got my money back." So, my question for someone who ***REALLY*** knows---what's the story on the PA1000? Under what circumstances does it work, and when not? lee >"So, if this is what I want, how do I get it?" you ask. >Well, that's fairly easy... a company called digiFeX bought out all of CMI's >inventory, and the rights to manufacture some of their products, including >the Processor Accelerator series.
