This also is a sign of deteriorating disks - I'd be very careful over the next while watching for other such errors. You can determine the block number by using 'lsyserr'. Once you know the block number, you should mark these blocks as BAD-SPOTS (including the block before and after the affected ones) using the disk formatting routine INVOL.
