KERMIT for the Apple 2 (and other operating systems) does as credible a VT100 as is available. The files APP386.1 and APP386.2 from watsun.cc.columbia.edu via ftp are EXECable as is under DOS 3.3 (the 'B' file that's created can be copied to a ProDOS volume and will BRUN under BASIC.SYSTEM).
