You'll find it part of the 3.51 Development Set Now for the quasi-bad news. You can't dial into your UNIXpc on ph0/1 and run layers. I forget the exact failure mode, but I think "layers" claimed ph1 wasn't a tty. ("Oh, yeah? Sez who?") Layers worked okay for me on tty000. However, a long time ago I called the hotline to ask about the deal on ph lines. The guy I talked with was surprised that I could get layers to work at all. He claimed there were big time bugs and recommended I not use it, etc. Well, like I said, it worked okay for me on tty000, but maybe it's one of those things that works for some people and not for others. (I don't know nuthin' about the bugs or the port of layers to the UNIXpc. I'm just telling you what the guy told me.) -- Bill Carpenter att!ho5cad!wjc or attmail!bill
