You may have to have a vt100 termcap within your small termcap file. I think
maybe the kermit termcap makes reference to the vt100 termcap that should be
already on every system. So in other words, in addition to the kermit termcap
you would need another terminal entry for vt100. (Unless of course you had it
added to the system termcap file in /etc) Thats my guess.
