Lately we encounter some problems on Emulex SMDI SM80 disk interfaces
for a DIGITAL HSC50 Hierarchiecal Storage Controller in combination with
a CDC SABRE850.
The problems we encounter are positioning errors and low header mismatch 
accompanied with panel code 24. These messages are being reported by the 
DEC operating system VMS version 4.7.

Who is familiar with the above mentioned problems and has some remarks 
or solutions, please do inform us.
