We have a HP4145A semiconductor parameter analyzer which has a very old and limited capacity disk drive, maybe 100K or so. Disks from HP are $15 each and can hardly store anything. I was wondering if anyone out there is familiar with this equipment and might have rigged up something to either get data out of this and store it on maybe a HP 9000 computer, or has found a way to format regular 5 1/4 floppies to work with the 4145A, or has found a way to read its disks on another computer or something of the sort. I don't read this group, so please e-mail. If anyone would like a summary of the responses I receive, please send me your email address. Thanks, Sandeep -- Sandeep Bahl (sandeep@caf.mit.edu) !{ihnp4,harvard,seismo,rutgers}!mit-eddie!mit-caf!sandeep
