Does anyone know where I can obtain a SCSI controller for a 386 AT bus style mother board? Do SCSI controllers come with a formatter program? Do they normally need a CONFIG.SYS loaded device driver or does the extended BIOS ROM on the SCSI controllers handle BIOS to SCSI translation. I'm VERY familiar the older ST506 ways of doing things. So I'm confused about how I'll tell the system about the drive. Or do the SCSI controllers handle it all. Anyone who can point me to a vendor where I can obtain a SCSI controller with formatter and if required, device driver (for DOS and OS/2), I like to hear from you. Thank you. -- Jeff Gortatowsky-Eastman Kodak Company .....sun!sunrock!elmgate!jdg (716)-726-0084 Eastman Kodak makes film not comments. Therefore these comments are mine not theirs.
