I am considering it for use to solve a real time programming problem where the 8237A controller (motherboard DMA channel controller chip) conflicts with the bus timing for standard Western Digital type fixed disk controllers. I would appreciate a brief summary of your experience with this controller, pricing information, and purchase source information where available. I would also appreciate similar information for other fully buffered and/or cache based fixed disk controllers available in the marketplace. Tallgrass is one possible source ... however, I don't seem to be able to find them in my computer supplier directory. Thanks, AJ Annala, USC Neuroscience Program
